Shirish V. Deo

Prof. Shirish Deo is a senior academician with 20 years of teaching and research experience, specializing in Advanced Concrete Technology, Structural Design, Construction Management, and Sustainable Materials. He has guided 9 Ph.D. scholars and currently supervises 7 doctoral researchers. He has held several key administrative roles including Head of Civil Engineering Department, Associate Dean (Planning & Development), Chairman – Public & Media Relations, Professor In-Charge – Estate Office, and Chairman – Purchase Committee. He has contributed to multiple institute-level committees and has modernized the Concrete Technology Laboratory with advanced NDT and testing facilities. His research focuses on eco-friendly concrete, utilization of marginal and industrial by-product materials, and sustainable structural design. He has completed a funded project on Eco-friendly Concrete Composites supported by CGCOST. Prof. Shirish Deo has authored 46 international journal papers, 10 national journal papers, and 26 conference publications.
